Norwescon is run entirely by volunteers. Each year, over 250 people generously give of their time in order to make Norwescon the best it can be for its members and participants.
Volunteers are the backbone of the convention, from those of us who donate our time year round to those of you who lend a much needed helping hand for a couple of hours at the convention. Whether that is watching the doors at the Masquerade, helping out at the Registration Desk, or manning the Cloak Closet, we need that help.
Norwescon 45 ConCom Meeting Dates
This year’s ConCom meetings will be on:
ConCom meetings will begin at noon and generally last around two hours. Post-meeting socials will begin shortly after the meeting ends, with locations announced at or shortly before the meeting.
Staff should check with their department heads about plans for individual department breakout sessions.
ConCom meetings will be held in-person this year in Maxi’s Ballroom at the SeaTac Doubletree Hotel. A virtual attendance option will be available and announced on the “Staff Updates” section of the website.
Until further notice, for in-person attendees, a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 is required and a face mask must be worn at all times when not actively eating or drinking.
