Kingfisher, about our three nights of dances, events for our teen members, our list of attending artists is up, looking for supplies for teen and tween panels, the Single Pattern Contest patterns are up, meetup signups are open, join us at the Norwescon Music Mixer on Feb. 20, and our charity this year is Page Ahead!
The judges of the 2026 Philip K. Dick Award and the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society, along with the Philip K. Dick Trust, are pleased to announce the seven nominated works published in 2025 that comprise the final ballot for the award.

As announced at our Masquerade halftime on Saturday night of Norwescon 47, we are pleased to introduce our first four guests of honor for next year’s Norwescon 48: Ursula Vernon (T. Kingfisher), Summer Ash, Orbit (Bradley Englert, rep.), and Dutch Bihary!
The five Philip K. Dick Award judges for distinguished science fiction published in paperback original format in the United States in the 2025 award year are Jim Aikin, Kim Antieau, J. D. Goff, Abbey Mei Otis, and Lisa Swanstrom.
It was announced on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Norwescon 47 in SeaTac, Washington, that the winner for the distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time during 2024 in the U.S.A. is TIME’S AGENT by Brenda Peynado (Tordotcom). Special citation was given to ALIEN CLAY by Adrian Tchaikovsky (Orbit).
