It was announced on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Norwescon 47 in SeaTac, Washington, that the winner for the distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time during 2024 in the U.S.A. is TIME’S AGENT by Brenda Peynado (Tordotcom). Special citation was given to ALIEN CLAY by Adrian Tchaikovsky (Orbit).
Seattle Worldcon 2025 announced this year’s finalists for the 2025 Hugo Awards, Lodestar Award for Best Young Adult Book, and Astounding Award for Best New Writer over the weekend.
