Club Tables

Norwescon offers table space to clubs, groups, conventions, and organizations that promote science, science fiction, fantasy, costuming, and other fannish pursuits. This table space is an opportunity to share your enthusiasm with Norwescon members who have similar interests.

Beyond Reality Costumers Guild logo

Beyond Reality Costumers Guild is a group of costume enthusiasts who share their passion for costuming by teaching others their techniques, learning from others, and exhibiting their costumes. They welcome costumers of all types, including fantasy and science fiction costumers, historical costumers, Society for Creative Anachronism   costumers, reenactors, dancers, theatrical costumers, professional costumers, and hobbyists. BritCon

BritCon is a British science fiction and fantasy convention located in Western Washington, for fans of British movies, television shows, and graphic novels, comic books, comedy, culture, and more.

Cascade Writers

Clarion West

Clarion West is a nonprofit literary organization that runs an acclaimed six-week residential workshop every summer, online classes and workshops, one-day and weekend workshops, a reading series every summer, and other events throughout the year.

Crypticon Seattle

Dragonflight GameCon

Dragonflight GameCon, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a volunteer-run social-educational community dedicated to the advancement of the gaming hobby in the Pacific Northwest. They run an annual tabletop gaming convention for attendees of all ages, work with local youth groups to develop clubs and tabletop gaming groups, and provide financial and volunteer support to nonprofit conventions for their tabletop gaming in the Pacific Northwest.

Interim Computer Museum

The Interim Computer Museum (ICM) strives to preserve and share the history of computing through interactive exhibits using vintage hardware with modern enhancements. Our exhibits provide a hands-on experience that bridges the past and the present, allowing visitors to explore the evolution of computing technology.

King County Library System

Montréal 2027 Worldcon

CanSMOF, a Canadian not-for-profit corporation, will host the 2027 Worldcon in Montréal. They are reaching out across fandom to invite people to experience their Canadian content! Stop by, say hello, and select a fun ribbon or two for your badge. They’re happy to answer questions and trade stories about how great the Montréal food scene is.

Norwescon Little Free Library

Norwescon’s community-sourced free book table is open 24/7 during the convention. Come by and find favorites, new and old. Donations are appreciated but not necessary.

The Cult of Scott Bakula

The Cult of Scott Bakula was formed at Norwescon, and has been helping provide entertainment and socialization for cult followers and for those who are merely cult-curious.

The Hedge LARP

The Hedge is a home-brew boffer LARP, with their store serving as its heart and home base. Whether at an event they produce themselves or one they travel to as the Fairy Court, you’ll always find the spirit of The Hedge LARP alive and woven into the experience.

Washington Shakespearean Festival

The Washington Shakespearean Festival (WSF) is a nonprofit traveling Shakespearean variety show/theatre company. They perform in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and beyond. They help nonprofits with fundraising and teach classes in schools all over the Puget Sound, including Western Washington University, Seattle Central College, and The University of Alaska in Fairbanks. We are looking for:

  • Clubs, groups, conventions, and organizations that align with the interests of our membership.
  • Applicants/organizers who have a membership to Norwescon and who will staff the table for the duration of the convention.
  • Applicants/organizers who conduct their business with the convention in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Clubs, groups, conventions, and organizations that are willing to have their members volunteer for a few hours at the convention would be appreciated.

Club/Fan Table Facts

  • We provide 6′ tables and two (2) chairs. Additional seating might be negotiable depending on resources and COVID restrictions at the convention.
  • Power may be available at some tables; please contact the club table liaison in advance with your power needs.
  • Because table space is limited, display items should fit on or behind the table. Please contact the club table liaison if you have concerns about available space. We may be able to find a location that suits your needs.
  • No goods or services may be sold at the tables with the following exceptions:
    • Memberships
    • Club, convention, or organization publications
    • Fundraising items (pins, pens, ribbons, etc.)
    • Raffles and membership drawings
  • With permission of the club table liaison, assigned table space may be shared with other fannish groups. Tables cannot be sold or sublet.
  • Prepare to staff your table space throughout the convention. Table space will be set and ready for you at around through . Expect to staff tables until , , and . Tables may be removed after 5:00 p.m. to accommodate convention programming or social events.
  • Applications are reviewed, and selections are juried to ensure a balanced selection of interests.
  • The priority deadline for club table requests is . After the deadline, tables are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applicants will be notified early in 2026 whether their applications are approved.

Fees

  • Clubs, groups, conventions, and organizations that promote science, science fiction, fantasy, costuming, and other fannish pursuits are the heart and soul of our geeky culture, so we do not charge for the tables.
  • However, each person staffing a fan table must be registered with the convention and wear their Norwescon membership badge.
