Catan National Qualifier Event

Norwescon 48 is hosting an official CATAN United States National Championship Qualifier Tournament! We will have three preliminary rounds and a final on Saturday, April 4, 2026. There will be 28 seats available.

In order to participate, you must have a Norwescon membership and you must register for the qualifier tournament.

The qualifier winner will win a guaranteed seat at the 2026 CATAN United States Merchant Regional Preliminary, location and dates TBD. The top four finishers in the 2026 CATAN United States Merchant Regional Preliminary will win a guaranteed seat at the 2026 CATAN US National Championship Tournament, location and dates TBD.

ELIGIBILITY: All participants must be residents of the United States and be 18+ years of age by the date of CATAN Nationals. Winners of the 2025–2026 season Local Qualifier Tournaments are prohibited from participating in further Local Qualifiers in the same region.
