Lee Moyer
Bio
Lee Moyer is an award-winning Illustrator, Game Creator, Designer, Writer and Art Director from Portland, Oregon.
His artwork has been featured in many Spectrum annuals, A Lovecraft Retrospective, D’Artiste – Digital Painting and dozens of other books; in Communication Arts, Design Graphics, and China’s Top Artist magazines; the BBC, the Guardian UK and Forbes online; and at the Society of Illustrators, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and the National Zoo.
He served as Art Director for EA, Concept Lead for Hasbro, and collaborated with many best-selling-authors for his trio of Literary Pin-Up Calendars. He spent a decade as a Docent & Naturalist Illustrator at the Smithsonian Institution and the New York Times nominated his work for a Webby in 1999.
Lee brings his knowledge and love of Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Arts & Crafts, the Pre-Raphaelites, and classical illustration to his book and DVD covers, his many theatrical posters, as well as his daily Small Gods Series.
He travels for gallery shows, to teach and lecture. He plays a mean game of Scrabble.
