Announcing: Ripped From the Pages

Burlesque Showcase Norwescon 43

Once upon a time,
There was a showgirl who liked to read.

She dressed in the pages of adventure, nightmare, and humor
Finding the stories to make her own.

To Airmeet, she came
On wings of metal and fire
And tassels of Swarovski

But, as we all know, adventures are better with friends.
She summoned eclectic ecdysiasts from far and wide

To share their favorite stories and delight with care
In the darkest of night, after the witching hour tolls.

For the fans of the fantastic, and the dreamers speculating
The book may have been better

But these performances will be
Ripped From The Pages

Each year, Norwescon brings a scintillating selection of gifted and geeky ecdysiasts to the convention. This year’s lineup includes:

Allen Ryde

Allen Ryde is a longtime Baltimore burlesque native having traveled the country as a performer and doing nerdlesque of all different flavors and varieties! When not performing, Allen runs his own party entertainment company bringing top notch entertainment to parties of all kinds! He likes sexy underwear, whiskey sours and a good time!

As a classically-trained vocalist and dancer, she captivates the audience with grace and style. She has studied under choreographers and performers all over the country. Bella graduated from Coney Island’s Sideshow School in 2015 and has been pushing herself ever since.

She is the owner of Bella’s Tchotchkes, original maker of the 3D pastie. She makes laser-cut jewelry and accessories as well. Mixing tech with art has become a driving force and passion for her, especially during this current time.

She originally hails from Miami, Florida, but currently calls the state of Maryland home.
