Norwescon at the Seattle Pride Parade

8 or 10 a.m. until the parade is done
Come join Norwescon and other local fandom conventions as we march in the Seattle Pride Parade. If you can, please wear a Norwescon shirt!

Volunteer Appreciation Picnic

Steel Lake Park in Federal Way
Did you volunteer at Norwescon 43? Are you curious about volunteering at Norwescon 44? Then please join us on July 11th for our annual Norwescon Volunteer Picnic! This year the picnic will be at Steel Lake Park in Federal Way, in the covered picnic area closest to the beach, from 12PM until 5PM. We will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs with fixings, along with soda and water. If you can please bring a side dish or dessert for everyone to share, that would be great! Friends and family are welcome. Parking is available, first-come, first-parked!
Norwescon Camping Trip

Want to connect with the Norwescon community? Do you like nature? Join us for a camping trip — a few days out in nature, with all your nerdy friends, and nothing to do but catch up on your summer reading and cook food over an open fire! Sounds great, right?

Norwescon Book Club
One Sunday a month
Each month, we pick another SF/F book to read, then meet and discuss the book. Well, this is a book club, after all. Please join us!
- April 11: Book selection time! Going virtual worked so well in March, we’re going to do it again. Join us at 2 p.m. in the #books channel on the Norwescon Discord to discuss the logistics for our next set of books for the Norwescon book club. Want to recommend a book? Or a theme? This is the meeting for you! We’ll also be discussing a change-up in meeting time and location. RSVP on Facebook.
Norwescon Board Game Days
The first Saturday each month (usually)
5–9 p.m.
Fantasium Comics and Games at 1500 S. 336th St. Suite 12A, Federal Way, WA
Bring a game with you that you would like to play or you can pick one from Fantasium’s game library. We will have two tables set aside for us to use. Please join us hanging out, playing games, and promoting Norwescon.
Our game nights are paused while we concentrate on Norwescon 43, but we plan to fire back up in May! Check back later for an updated schedule.
