See the Gaming Schedule page for our full lineup!

Pre-Reserve Thursday Gaming Slots!
For the first time, you can register online in advance for spots in scheduled games on Thursday, exclusively through the Guidebook app. Space in each game is limited, so act now to avoid being placed on a wait list! Thirty-seven different games are available, from RPGs to board games to Artemis to a Magic: The Gathering booster draft tournament.

LAN Gaming

Zombies, ancient monsters, and weird science are happening on our brand new Gaming LAN in the Volunteer Lounge in Olympic 2! Gaming and Volunteers have teamed up to bring you some amazing computer games for you to play with your friends! Come check out some of the best multiplayer science fiction and fantasy games, and while you’re there, stop by our volunteer desk to learn how you can earn an extended block of game time by volunteering! Available games include Portal 2Left 4 Dead 2Star Wars: Movie Battles IITitan QuestSacred 2Dune 2000Command & Conquer: Tiberian SunRed Alert, and Alien Swarm.

Artemis

Be the crew, report to the bridge! Artemis is a spaceship bridge simulator where players assume the jobs of Captain, Helm, Science, Communication, Engineering, and Weapons Control. Together you operate your ship and defend the sector from evil aliens. Artemis simulates spaceship bridges by networking several computers together. One screen acts as the “main screen” of a bridge, while others serve as stations for the normal jobs a bridge crew might do. Artemis is a social game where several players work together on each bridge, and one player plays the captain, who doesn’t have a station but tells everyone else what to do. Multiple bridges can participate together in cooperative multi-ship missions.

Gaming Code of Conduct

We follow Wheaton’s Law: “Don’t be a dick.”

All Norwescon policies and procedures apply, including the harassment policy, weapons policy, accessibility policy, and photography guidelines. Copies of these are available on the Norwescon website, in the pocket program, and in Guidebook. Please take particular note of the beginning of our harassment policy: “Norwescon strives to provide a safe and welcoming space for persons of all descriptions. Everyone should be able to have a great time, in their own way, at the convention—but not at the expense of others. As a community, we insist on behavior that respects the autonomy of each individual member.”

The three accessible games tables in Maxi’s Ballroom may be used for walk-up games, however, if you use these tables you may be asked to move to make space for members with accessibility needs. DMs may also be asked to move their game to an accessible table. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please clean up after yourself and practice good hygiene. Our gaming staff is made of volunteers. Please treat them with respect and follow their instructions. Those who do not follow these guidelines may be asked to leave and not return.
