Jane Yolen has almost 250 books out, including picture books for children, middle grade novels, young adult novels, and novels and story collections for adults. She has written poetry, fiction, non-fiction, music, plays, and even a short animated movie. Her books and stories and poems have won a Caldecott Medal, two Nebulas, a Rhysling, three Mythopoeic Society Aslans, a Golden Kite, two Christophers, seven body of work awards, two honorary doctorates, and a partidge in a pear tree.
