2002 Philip K. Dick Award Norwescon is proud to host the presentation of the 2002 Philip K. Dick Award Ceremony. The Philip K. Dick Award is conferred annually to a distinguished original science fiction paperback published for the first time in the United States during the award year. The ceremony honoring the 2002 winner will be held on Friday, April 18, 2003 at Norwescon 26. This event will mark the 21st year that the Philip K. Dick Award will be presented. The award is sponsored by the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society with David G. Hartwell representing the board of trustees at this year’s presentation. Last year’s recipient was Ship of Fools by Richard Paul Russo, published by Ace Books, with a special citation to Divine Intervention by Ken Wharton, published by Meisha Merlin.
