Norwescon 42 will be April 18–21, 2019

This entry was published on April 23, 2018 and may be out of date. For the most current information on this year's Norwescon, please see our most recent blog posts. Thank you!

Another successful convention weekend has gone by, and Norwescon 41 is done! Many thanks to all of you who attended, to the many volunteers who showed up to help out, to our concom staff who devote so much of their year to putting all of this together, to the many panelists, artists, vendors, and clubs who participated, and of course, to our excellent Guests of Honor: Ken Liu, Galen Dara, Mathew Wedel, and Nicole Lindroos and Chris Pramas of Green Ronin Publishing!

We’ll be keeping an eye on social media and the rest of the web for your Norwescon 41 posts, pictures, and memories: please be sure to tag them with #nwc41 so we can find them! Our official photos have started to appear, but with literally thousands of shots taken by our photography team over the course of the weekend, we have a lot of work to do to get the rest sorted, processed, and ready to post, so we do ask for your patience. In the meantime, we’d love to see you add your photos from this weekend to our official Norwescon 41 group on Flickr!

But now that we’ve wrapped up 41, what about 42? If you haven’t heard already via social media or the official announcement: We are happy to announce that our our Artist Guest of Honor will be Tran Nguyen, our Special Guest of Honor will be Nancy Pearl, our Spotlight Publisher will be Subterranean Press, and our theme will be “Don’t Forget Your Towel”. Look for more announcements later this year!

Norwescon 42 will be held April 18–21, 2019 — and pre-registration is open now! Our membership rate is just $70 for a full four-day membership; rates are higher at the convention, so pre-registration is highly recommended! We will once again be at the Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport, and we will post room reservation info in just a few weeks.

See you next year!
